Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Good blasting ammo choice for full auto M4 ?

Would like to hear what most of you are using for a carbine full auto M4.  I fired some federal M193 out of mine yesterday, and the gun just felt and ran better than anything else i've tried lately.  Is it hotter than the Winchester Q3131 and Q3131A ?.  It is definately hotter than the PMP commercial i tried at the same time.  Some of the PMP failed to cycle when the gun got a bit dirty and needed addtional lube on the bolt to keep it running.  The M193 ran 100% though.  

just curious what you all have experienced, as I'd like to buy a large quantity of good stuff to feed my hungry carbine.....I have a bit of the Wincheste Q3131 variety, but didnt know how it stacks up against the M193

XM193 and Q3131A (and it's clone, IMI M193) is all M193-spec ammo, with XM193 being a little hotter than the other two.  Any of these should be fine.

PMP is definitely not M193-spec, running 150-200 fps slower, like most commercial .223 does.
