Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - winchester white box?

My walmart recently started selling winchester white boxes of .223 ammo, 40 per box at $7.50 each. Is this ammo the good q3131 in 5.56, or is it just generic .223? I havn't had a chance to shoot any of it yet although the winchester white box .45 acp seems to be my colt 1911's favorite ammo (aside from defensive use stuff).

It's a generic 223, it's not the 5.56 mm Q3131A, it has lower velocity than the military load.  Nothing really wrong with it, it's just a lower performance load.
