Well, since no one has jumped in yet, I will say that I have not tried the 5.56. Why, because I have tried the 6.5 X 55, 8mm Mauser, and .30-06.
All have had very low velocity (up to 500 fps slower than mil-spec), the bullets core separate from the jacket in every bullet recovered, and many flash holes are non- standard size. |
