Has anyone purchased any of the IMI SS109 from Wideners?  They are supposedly the new master distributor.  Feedback please.

Never bought from Wideners, but I have bought plenty of the IMI M855(SS109) and its my favorite 5.56 ammo.

Yes bought 600 rounds. Fast service, nice people. More expensive than Botach, but no problems to report.
The IMI M855, which is what you get from them, not SS109, is second only to LC M855.

SS109 is the [b]BULLET[/b] invented by FN. Used to designate NATO 62gr 5.56mm with steel penetator.
You can take the SS109 bullet and put it into any 5.56mm cartridge good or bad. Hence that Bosnian crap.
The U.S.A make their SS109 onto a hotter load with better brass and sealant than the rest of NATO. They designate it M855. Only the U.S. and Israel make M855.

So you only can get [b]NEW[/b] M855 from IMI.
LC M855 [b]NEW[/b] is not available so don't look.
You can pick up surplus LC M855 [b]"OLDER"[/b] at gun shows.

Ive never seen their site before. I just ordered from Botach yesterday. Waiting on my order. [bounce]
