Picked up a couple hundred rounds of this....headstamp FNM over 87-1. A magnet sticks to the bullet and it has no colored tip. Is this SS109 or just a bimetal jacket? If it's bimetal, does this affect fragmentation?

Where'd you get this ammo and how much? I'm kind of curious 'cause I've had nothing but excellent performance from Portugese .308, some of the best to be had IMO. And if this Port. 556 is anywhere close it'll be some awesome stuff.

Picked it up at a gunshow for $0.17 a round. Haven't shot any yet.

I got 500 rds of port. 5.56mm for $75, have about 30rds left.

It was non magnetic, and the box was marked M193

Also purchased Port 5.56 and it was excellent.

I've used both Port M193 & M855, great stuff!
The M855 tips were green on mine.
