I just purchased twice from them. A case of 800 rounds (in four ammo cans) of Australian .308 mil-surplus for $130.00 plus shipping, for a total of $159.50 (IIRC) delivered.

Really nice ammo, in 5 round stripper clips in bandoliers. The people at Military Shooters are good to deal with. Good service, no problems. I would definitely deal with them again....

I just bought a case of the Aussie .308 from Sportsmans Guide, got 800 rounds plus a battle pack of the South African .308 for $151.91 after 5% Club Discount, shipping was $16.99, and I had a $15 discount code, so my total was $153.90 delivered.

Dans ammo has the 800 rd crate for $138.00 plus very reasonable shipping.

I also ordered a case from Dan's Ammo, with shipping it was $148 per case.  Sportsman's Guide is a little cheaper, and when I ordered from SG, the ammo shipped that day. My order from Dan's took a few weeks because he ran out of stock after I ordered and the ammo was stuck in customs for a while.

The ammo I got from SG was dated 1983, the ammo from Dan's was 1988.

I assume that is the sight of which you speak?
It looks like it's cheaper to skip the crate and ammo cans.
Not that the crate and ammo cans aren't nice.

Skip the crate unless you want it for stacking purposes.  It's just a thin wooden shell that is wrapped in wire to hold it together.  I didn't even want to toss it onto my shoulder for carrying out to the car as it didn't feel sturdy enough for that.
