I was in a gunshop today and found some 5.56 ammo that was made in Spain. The box had INI on it.The headstamping was a NATO cross, the letters SB and 5.56x45.The primers looked like they were staked in.Anyone know?

Santa Barbara has a pretty decent rep from what I remember.  It was on the market about 2 years ago.

Standard European style SS-109, 63gr. stuff.

Anything with a NATO cross will be non corrosive of course.

SANTA BARBRA SS109 IS MATCH GRADE  KILLER STUFF!!
BEST IVE SHOT YET!!

M855 SPECS is suppose to have 26.1grs of ball  Powder  Winchester 844 I think

Here are some rounds I pulled just to get a idea???

Santa Barbra ss109 26.0grs.
Lake City M855 26.2grs
Sellier&Bellot 24.5grs reported 3184 FPS SD 14 by Chuck S. The MAN!
Win M855 27.1grs
IMI M855 25.6grs

Rounds will always be off  0.2 or more Grs.

And before I Ballistic TECH zooms in and says I should of done this and that it was just to give me a idea?

I Thought since the  ZVSS109 Sellier&Bellot wiegh 24.5 it would be Slow?? But Chuck S. reported 3184FPS wich is hotter than M855??

Cool, but I take it that the primers being staked negates the possibility of reloading them?
