Has anyone heard of this ammo? Friend of mine had 1700 rds.he wants to sell. Box is marked "DM-41 Weichkern.It's in a clear plastic wrapping. Cartridge base marked men-59-59 Is this ammo any good? Comments?

Dunno...ask over at the FAL files, someone there will probably know. The German 7.62x51 fmj stuff is, by far, the best performer of these rounds...IF this is what your friend has.
