So far, put 60 rounds each of PMP's .223 Remington and Winchester Q3131 5.56 x 45mm through my Colt's 20-inch bull barrel. No problems so far. [:)]
Edited to add: Oh yeah, no stainless barrel here either. |

I have a 20" DPMS with the SST bull...I ONLY shoot XM193...and with excellent results.
The .223 vs 5.56 controversy is mostly bullshit. |

I would pay money for the evidence of a commercial .223 chambered Ar-15 that went kaboom on 5.56 military ammo. The pressure issues come into play if you reload and are using heavier match rounds and start pushing the pressures. |
