Some friends at the local gun shop recently took some Federal Tactical (58gr?) out to test fire it through an automobile windshield.  Using a 16" M4, they fired several rounds into the vehicle through the windshiled from 25 yards and experienced only 1/2" impact/point-of-aim deflection!  Then they fired several rounds from the front passenger seat out through the windshield to at target at 25 yards and experienced 2" deflection.  It was only after they told me the story that the jerks informed me they were out of it and due to backorder, wouldn't have any for some time.  Thanks, fellas!

Does anyone know how I can get my hands on any of these bonded bullets for possible reloading?  Manufacturer?  Anything?  Where might I look for information?  I figure it sure wouldn't hurt to have a couple of mags of this stuff kicking around... you know, for roving packs of zombies driving automobiles and the like...

Any input you may have would be greatly appreciated.

From what I understand its just trophy bonded bear claws. I've bought several boxes of 55gr trophy bonded .223 for deer and antelope hunting from federal. They are not law enforcement or tactical but they proved to be outstanding on small deer and game.
