Quoted: does anyone know f the industry keeps totals on rounds produced of different calibres? I would guess .22LR would be #1 and 12GA. would be #2. I think 7.62x39mm would be the third most shot ammo, and 5.56mm the fourth most shot. If it was based on $ of ammo sold, I think 12Ga would be first, followed by .223 and then 7.62AK ammo. Is there a place to find the information I need? On a worldwide basis I actually think 9mm is the most common. |

Funny, i had this argument the other day with my best friend.An offshoot of the argument was how much 45 auto we sell and ship.
Amazing how many folks love 45 ACP. We sell on average 20,000 rounds a day assorted manufacturers. I never really thought about it but was astounded at that number. Eric the ammoman |

I sure hope so, but that's the nature of surplus.It comes and it goes.
You should see some of the weird stuff i have had in quantity over the last 20 years and have never seen again. My bet is yes on the SA 223 Eric the ammoman |
