has anyone bought the portugese 308 that Century is selling for 119 shipped?  Is this the same stuff that AIM was selling??

Different stuff than AIM, Century stuff is loose packed in 100 round boxes, tarnished and mixed lots.  Plus you have to pay 12.50 shipping so AIM is better all around deal.

There's a few shows coming up soon in the CT area, last few shows there's been a guy selling port $135/1000, sealed battle packs in wooden crates. He's also got the South African, 1260 for $179 or something like that, per round price is the same. It's also sealed packs in a sealed plastic crate. If you order after the first of the year let me know, I need to put in an order and would like to split shipping with someone. Located in Groton

I just picked up a 1K sealed case of Port. at the Middletown(did you see some of the asking prices on C&R stuff?, Holy Crap!) funshow too. The case was $139 out the door, no tax, no fuss, no muss!!

1981 headstamped in battlepacks.

BTW, is the Port. ammo re-loadable?

Another BTW, the show at the Big E used to be great. Not anymore. If you live out of state, you can't buy a weapon at all, and there is no ammo sales allowed inside, it is sold outside in a little tent. That sucks.

The Catskill show is brand new, and will only have at most 100 tables if they all sell out, so don't expect too much.

The Poughkeepsie show just plain sucks(I live nearby, so trust me on this). It actually gets worse every time. I have some friends that bought tables a few shows ago, that didn't even bother going to set up on Sunday, because Sat. sucked so bad. I know a large number of the dealers that set up at all of these shows, and they all say it is going downhill. Well, then lower your damn prices, and maybe it won't be so bad, idiots!

Most of these dealers just carry their wares from one show to the next because it is so overpriced it doesn't sell. Guy's were trying to sell MAS 49/56 that are $180 from SOG for $350. There were plenty of other rip-off prices too. I made a guy a fair offer on a used Leupold scope about 6 months ago, he refused and is still lugging it from show to show.

It is just a little show info, to try and keep you guy's from being dissapointed.

Thanks for the 'heads up'  They must have just gotten it in...the 'add to my cart' button wasn't there yesterday...I live in Ct and it takes about 1 week for an order from AIM to arrive...I've ordered from them many times and never had any problems
