I just got my Model B fixed and am ready to load up some 9mm for it, does anyone have some pet loads for carbines? I will initially be using 124g round nose for good feeding. I have one manual that shows rifle loads, but they appear to be weak; ie 124g @ 125 fps.

I use AA-#7 for full power 124 loads-8gr-8.5gr works well. Chrono'd 124 lead w/gas check (RCBS mold) at 1338 avg from 10.25" 6 groove 1x10 RH twist barrel, and 1331 avg from the IMI 16" pipe.

AA-#5 works well, as w/Blue Dot, although bulky (Blue Dot). I use 5gr of #5 or VV 3N37 for my 147 sub-sonic loads. Don't bother w/115's, and use mid speed powder.

I tried out a load using 8.1g Blue Dot with 124g Remington RN, 10 rds: Lo 1403 fps, Hi 1450 fps, Ave 1431 fps, ES 46.75, SD 13.49.  This from a Model B Uzi with 16" barrel, Chrono 10' from muzzle.  Looks like a keeper to me, though I don't think I'll shoot any in my pistols!

My .45 cal UZI eats anything =)

2" MOA (1" at 50 yards) is kinda nice too!

Suppressor is fake, just used as a sight mount.
