My "babies" will eat just about anything I can stuff in a mag.  But . . . what type/brand of ammo should I have on hand for a "rainy day" (SHTF ! ! )  Thanks  ! !

I am guessing you're referring to .223/5.56? If so then the '00/01 LC xm193, lots 1-5 would be my personal choice. It is what I have a couple of rounds stored at least. I also have a few rounds of SA surplus for General purpose, and SHTF backup.
