I have seen something for the 10/22 that holds the bolt closed so it is no longer a semi auto.
I have an old v-22 upper I want to do the same sort of thing to.
It is a side charger, so I was wondering if someone makes something that holds the bolt closed, and is easy to remove to charge a new round?

Should be easy enough to make one. Take a look at the 10/22 version to get an understanding of how it works. It is just an aluminum bar that is held onto the bolt by a strong magnet.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that one.
I have some rare earth magnets laying around, and will give it a try.
