Still waiting on the grip and most of the upper parts but they're coming.

It's going to have a 10.5" QC10 barrel, old school 9mm forged flat top upper, and MI 9.25" Combat MLOK rail.

It's a Black Creek Precision lower.

Thanks for the link!

Nice...I have a fondness for the Colt style 9mm AR's.

Why they used a FA hammer I don't know but they did.

That doesn't answer anything about why they'd put a FA hammer into a non-FA rifle rather than a non-notched hammer.

I expect that it is just what they had a lot of.

That's the only conclusion I could come up with as well.

Might be because Colt semi-auto hammers are notched and we all know notched hammers won't work with blow back AR-9s.

I got the handguard and barrel.

The receiver and bolt (both CMT) should be here Monday and then I'll get it assembled.

Here it is with a stand-in no feedramp cut upper.  This upper is tight as hell though on the lower so I hope the actually upper that I'll be using is a little sloppier so I don't have to beat the pins in.

MI 9.25" Combat Rail
Magpul panels
Griffin 3-Lug

I've never built an upper so fingers crossed that it goes well!

The finished lower is in the OP.

It is done and shoots great.  Zero issues in the 100rds I was able to put through it in the time I had.

I'm super happy with it and it's a blast to shoot!

I have an SBR lower and Hahn block but I like the dedicate lower.

I may SBR this lower though but I want another Omega 9K first.

Thanks!

I bought the upper/bolt combo from this guy on GB.  They are CMT parts and it is a dedicated 9mm upper as it doesn't have a hole for the gas tube.
