So I've ran into a dilemma. I have a beautiful EARLY as far as I can tell, Colt 9mm. Original box, papers, everything. Serial number is NL000759. So I'm guessing this is a super early rarity? I shoot it quite frequently, and shoot it suppressed. My question is this. Do I SBR it and make it a fun play toy, or is there actual value in this rifle? If there really isn't much collectibility in it, it's going on the chopping block. I figured you guys would know way more about this than I do, so let's hear it.

Market is a bit soft right now, but there's usually some folks that like early stuff for a premium. Hard to judge. You COULD always register it, put the engraving on the new upper and just keep the original parts as is so whatever you do is reversible.

Or, just buy one of the camo jobs from Arms Unlimited and build a new one.

You could always try selling it and if it doesn't sell, file.
