ASA Side Charging Upper and Blowback?

Anyone have experience with this upper suppressed? How is the blowback?

I'm planning my 4" build that will be ran 100% suppressed, so blowback is a concern.

Currently I'm trying to decide between the VLTOR, RRA and ASA.

I figure that the ASA for $470 isn't that far of a strecth from a WLTOR/RRA for $175, glock cut bolt $200 and CH for $50 which turns out around $425 ish.

I got blockback unsuppressed, so it would suck suppressed. My face would have specks of lube and shit all over it after a dozen mags.

Run a non FA VLTOR now.

Thanks for the info. I figured blowback would suck but just wanted to double check before crossing it off the list as an options. Looks like I'll be going with the VLTOR. Is that a HK style drum sight on the rear?

Nope, just a Larue fixed rear sight with A2 aperture.

I ran into the same issues with a tros barrel and asa side charger... Lots of shit blows back in the shooter's face, especially with a can. Sold it.

I have the asa upper with a adco 5" barrel and trilug adapter for my aac eco9, I will tell you that after 6 or 7 mags I have to brush my teeth from all the grit that's blown back at me. Great setup, but bring toothpaste to the range with you.
