I'm liking the way you filled in the logo.......what did you do it with?

Where did the upper receiver come from? I thought Taccom was using DPMS low pro upper receivers. Would love to buy this for my 22LR SBR build.

That receiver is awesome, is taccom making smaller ejection port holes, or is it the picture? I am doing a pistol build with suppressor, and think a smaller ejection port would be more quiet.

Tim, the fill was done with Lacquer pins. Sort of like a lacquer crayon.

These are the new Taccom upper receivers.
Taccom milled off the forward assist and reduced the size of the ejection port for .22. It covers more of the bcg.
No ejection port cover.
Very slick!

What kind of accuracy you get with that barrel by chance?

Along with this, are you planning on using this as a suppressor host?

I have read that the 4.5 inch barrel will keep .22 bulk subsonic, which is a huge advantage. If this barrel would do almost the same, I would definitely prefer it to the 4.5 inch model.

Thanks

7" will not keep high velocity ammo sub sonic.
I use standard velocity ammo for quiet with the can.

I've only shot the barrel at 25 yards. Average was .5-.7  with CCI standard.

Thanks Dave S. The upper receiver is awesome.

Got it... I have a good stash of CCI SV. You are indeed inferring that it stays subsonic in this barrel, correct?

I can save the wally world bulk packs for the M&P 22 if that is the case!

Thanks

I hope to get out to the Range this weekened.  I have a 4" and 7" TACCOM barrel on SBR Lowers.  I will do some shooting for groups and post back.

Yes, they stay sub sonic in mine. Also have pretty decent accuracy.

What length FH are you using? The barrel only appears to be 1/2 of the 9"  handguard.

A 7.5" barrel in a 9" HG should be about flush, no? It looks like a 4.5" with a 5" FH.

5.5" CAR type FH.
It's a 7" Taccom barrel.

Beautiful build.

Just placed my order to replicate your build. Very friendly people to do business with.

What I didn't know was that the pressure plug was included in the upper package. So that was a pleasant surprise.

Crappy pic but here is the barrel and FH without the hand guard.
Different upper receiver taken before the Taccom upper receiver.
