Interesting –– I wonder if they are offering new composite mags for their other upper calibers as well?
FWIW, I had a Sten-magged Oly 9mm for years and it always worked great...  ... but it had also been extensively worked over by Kurt Wala (RIP  ). But I'm a 9mm Glock guy so, when they came out with their GL-1s, I bought a couple of those and sold the old one. Kinda wish I'd kept it for sentimental reasons, but I never shot it once I got the GL-1s. |

They make polymer mags in 9mm, 40SW, and 45 acp.
10mm coming. They are built like tanks.

They are a tad hard to load, (waiting for a loader hint hint) but they are GREAT MAGS!!!
I have 200ish sten mags, but when I was given one of these to test, they blew me away. Built like tanks, feel great, work great and I do plan on buying more. |

I wish Oly would make one with a lower capacity, just so the carbine isn't as tall as it is long!
I have some Oly converted STEN mags and never had a problem with them. I have some blocks milled to weld on to more STEN mags, and also bought some formed conversion blocks from a member here. I just wish I had the time to finish the mags. As soon as my stamp comes back, I'll be shortening the barrel on my Oly upper to use on my SBR's lower. I hate the wait. |
