And I LOVE it! Nice that I can shoot it at the local range (pistol caliber only).
 RRA LAR-9. Added the Troy Battle rear sight, CTR stock & MIAD grip. 32rd Promag shown, these mags are flawless. Big Thanks to EvilBert & Matt D Tatical for the Magpul gear.

It's different. I can't tell which one has more recoil. The 5.56 is way louder making it seem like it kicks a lot harder, The 9mm is a quick short pulse of a recoil. I have always said the 9mm has kind of a "twisty" recoil. Both are extremely enjoyable to shoot. My girlfriend prefers the 9mm(probably because the report isn't as obnoxious). Afte shooting the M1A for a couple hours the 9mm ar feels like a daisy red rider. I love the 9mm ar. I have about 6k rounds through mine using promags with no problems. eta remington umc is noticibly less powerful than wwn and shoots ver gently. It doesnt cycle very fst but it is a lot of fun. |

I shot this gun. The ProMags work 100% in it. Recoil is very mild and seemed less than the Colt 9MM I had shot previosly. Now if i can just get RSF45 to chop that barrel and get a red dot, woo hoo!!

The best way I can describe it is that the recoil on my 9mm SBR is like more of a push, where my regualr AR is a little more snappier, quicker and sharper...does that make sense? The 9mm is a blow back system, so you feel all of the recoil as the round is fired. |

as for the recoil i'd describe it as a "push" also, get ya some CPmags and you'll be all set
my gun likes JHP's more than it does FMJ  it's "high maitnance"

that is TOOOOO funny.
I just ordered a similar one through legal transfers. RRA Midlength A4 with YHM flip up front, entry stock and perm brake. Got a MI midlength gen2 FF quad rail, G27 grip, and magpul trigger guard waiting for it. thinking eotech 512 for optic. |

The recoil is mild, but definitely different. Almost like two separate events. Fist the quick snap as the round leaves the barrel and the heavy bolt blows back into the buffer tube. Then, the forward slap as the bolt grabs a new round and slams into the chamber. Not unpleasant, just different. Also, if bump firing is your thing, the 9mm AR's bump really easy. Mine is accurate out to 200 yards. I haven't shot paper past 100, but was able to hammer a propane cylinder @ 200 without effort. To be honest, I'm surprised a pistol round makes it that far considering the stubby round. |

Becarefull with a fully loaded Promag. If you drop it on concrete it will crack.

Did that today. 147gr JHP's, both Rem. Golden Sabre & Win. SXT's would not feed in the ProMags, but worked fine in the C-Products mags. 115gr was flawless in the ProMags, even the SXT +P+ (115gr). Close to 1K rounds through it in 3 weeks, it's just a whole lotta fun.
