Only possibility would be to come up with a new follower for the sten mags. The stock follower is too rounded and would not reliably force movement for a bolt hold open.

It's not the mag block that has the hold open feature, it's the mag. And stated above, the follower would need to be replaced or modified.

This is just one of the many reasons I am going to sell/trade-off my old Oly 9mm once I pick up a second Glock-magged model. I really liked my old Sten-magged Oly in spite of the Sten mags, no last-round hold-open, etc. -- but I absolutely LOVE the GL-1.
