Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can M-261 magazine inserts be used with an Oly Arms 22-17 Partner system?

I've just acquired a couple M261 magazine inserts, and was planning on using them with my 22-17 partner system.  Although the mags look much like the one supplied by Oly, I find that the system doesnt feed reliably using the M261 inserts.

Should the M261 mags be usable?  Do they need any modifications? or are they useless for this application.
