I currently in the planning stage to build a 9mm SBR with Rock River parts.  I understand why ramping the bolt is highly recommended if it is going to be used full auto.  Is this as important when the rifle is only going to be used in semi-auto?  Would KNS pins be adequate for the semi?

Is the dreaded hammer slap a problem with the current RRA parts?

Thanks.

I would reccomend it- it lowers recoil and the abuse shooting can do to your lower.

I guess it is less neccessary than on automatic where the repeated higher recoil is a really compounding effect.

You can quasi-dremel ramp it- just round or radius that square ege that stands up higher than the rest of the ramp.
