Love my DPMS .22 AR, but the magazines are ugly as sin.
Is there an easy way to swap out the plastic body in favor of a nice metal New Jersey friendly ten rounder?

Are there no magazine modders in the house?

If there is a "mag modder," once you post how to switch from plastic to metal, you can throw in how to modify it to work in a CZ V-22 Upper!!!

IIRC somebody had posted about how to take the BM mags apart and put the inserts into metal .223 mags back when they were first out and firing out of battery and blowing up mags.  The same method would probably work for the DPMS mags.  The thread is long gone into the archives now, but maybe someone can dredge it up (I think it was on the BM Industry forum) and re-post the instructions.
