I've been considering getting a .22lr version of the M4 carbine so that I can get in some more practice without the high cost of 5.56 ammo (yet still be virtually the same rifle).  Does anyone have any experience with the DPMS Panther AP4 .22lr rifle?  Reliable, accurate?  Also, does anyone have any ideas where I can get a decent price on one?

Thanks,
Mark

Absolutely love mine. Reliable, shoots under an inch at 50 yards with cheap Winchester Dynapoints. Best price I've seen on them lately was $440 from RGuns in Shotgun News. CheaperThanDirt sometimes has them--that's where I got mine for $400 almost two years ago.
