I have been looking for a mint Colt 9mm for some time, came across a NIB unfired green label with 2 Colt 20 round magazines, box is perfect, still has on the muzzle cap and paper rolled up inside the bore, unopened sling and cleaning kit, factory owners manual.  Asking $1700. I see that these were made only two years in 1985-86, fair price?

I assume you are buying as a collector and not a shooter?

I have seen very nice ones go for far less.  But if the NIB is important.....

The current production is model number AR6450 as opposed to R6450 and has a MSRP around $1,200 new.
