?Colt markings on 9mm barrel and bolts

I bought a used upper, that was supposed to be colt.

I can not find any markings on the barrel or bolt - is this common, or is this a parts upper?

My understanding is COLT factory barrel (SMG) will be marked under the handguard at top behind the sight base..... IF it is not marked, it could have started life as a 16" COLT (marked at top near muzzle, but now missing due to cutting off 5"+ of old barrel, or it is just a plain everyday non-Colt barrel that is cut down. The bolt should have a "C" stamped on the left side I think, if it follows std practice like the carriers in the 223/556.

My Colt bolt is not marked.. It's from a LE 6450.. The bbl is marked C MP 9mm CHROME BORE..

This is from a factory Colt 635 upper...

From a factory Colt 9mm Carbine...

And the bolts from both uppers...

I am not sure how I missed seeing the barrel markings on mine.
