Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help - Ciener Kit, upper and lower won't close!

I got this used, and I can't quite get the upper and lower to close, the back of the adapter hangs it up.  Any suggestions??

My upper  won't close if the ciener kit is installed and i don't cock the hammer.

Push the rear of the adapter plate against the upper receiver while closing.  It wants to back out under the spring tension.
