9mm federal 115 gr JHP +P+ ammo chronyed at 8" from barrel, avg. 1500 to1620fps out of a 16" tube. What would this do to a person? I hear alot of people say the 9mm is useless. These type of numbers are very good in my opinion. Doas antone have any better loads out there? I thought I would share this ammo because its the best I have found so far. Anyways...

That's a good question and I wondered about this also. I wonder if all the bad press is for FMJ type 9mm ammo as apposed to 9mm ammo with a hydro-shok type bullet? I have a .357sig upper that  runs in the 1700+ fps and around 850 foot-pounds energy in the Federal 125gr Hydro's and I can imagine that would do a lot of damage!  Basically the .357sig is really a 9mm in a bottlenecked cartridge.
