I have heard someone claim evil 10/22 mags were available in Canada.Does anyone know what brand and if they are reliable ?
Anyone researched if any mailorder houses are takeing pre orders ?

I think it is the Butler Creek 25 round mags.  They've been available for years in Canada, as there is no restriction.  I think the price up there is maybe $25 Canadian dollars, so figure the exchane rate on the US dollar.

some of the rimfire and 10/22 message boards always had posts about people ordering supposedly NIW prebans but they always had weird scuff marks on them and the package looked like it had been re-shrink wrapped. Site was run by a guy in canada and the concenus was that he was using a dremel tool to remove the "export only" markings

Thats a good idea, I just found them for $20 Candian and that's only $15 US from a place called wholesale sports. I'm going to phone them. It's 1-800-696-0253 in case anyone else is interested in buying some after September 14th.

I believe Topglock is doing a preorder for "evil" mags. Not just Glock mags either. Think i saw some 10/22 mags on there, not sure of the price at the moment.
