Did you order the 30's?  I never had them before and am curious if the 20's feed better?

Sten's don't come in 20 rounders. You may be thinking of Uzi mags.

There are Indian sten mags which are either 19 or 20 rounds.  I own roughly 20 of these

Yep Indian Railway mags, IIRC. 30's blocked to 20ish. I've got some also.

mallcop, they're all 32 rnders.
if you do buy em, buy a loader, either the WWII spoon or the finish pushbutton type CDNN carries. think it was like 5 bucks also.
you'll be glad you did.

I have tried several of the loaders and hands down IMHO the best one has he the brass ring on the actuator lever. It is very fast and consistent.

They are not really blocked....they put in wire on the sides so the rounds wouldn't rub on the side of the mag.  Suppose to have increased reliability (incase dirt/grit) got into the mag.

Can someone tell me how you use the Sten mags or uzi mags in a .223 lower?  I want to make either a 9mm or 10mm AR, but have no idea how to 'F with the mags.

I used KKF mag block with my stock RRA .223 Lower and the Sten mags just snap in.  The best part about my setup is the Oly upper allows me to use the stock .223 lower where as the Colt system make the additon of 9MM hammer, carbine buffer and spring needed additions.  Send me your e-mail if want want a pic of the setup.

I have some of the Indian mags for sale.

Here is a link to the ad. I can combine orders from ARF.com members to achieve the quantity discount.

I have about 12 of the ones from CDNN.  Literally thousands of rounds through them.  The only jam I had was a .380 that got mixed in the batch of 9s.

Unlike the ones from Olympic arms, these function right out of the box.
