Do any of you guys have any pics of your 9mm Integrally Suppressed uppers?  I am considering getting one but I cannot decide on which is best, if I should wait for full auto, or SBR, and if I should get a dedicated 9mm lower receiver or just switch out my .223 SP-1 lower with it.

Really like my Coastal Upper.  This upper can only be used on a RR or a SBR.  I'm sure others can be that way too. I vote the RR.

I have seen 2 of the 3 popular units this past may.  Fella (Eric in Indiana) had a LRM M169 at Richmond, and another fella had a Coastal. The LRM and the Coastal were both quiet, but do not ask me which one was quieter, as my ears ring all the time. There is the Gemtech "TALON", but I have not seen-heard one, but the TALON is a straight 5" pipe, so sub-sonic ammo is a must for quiet operation. There is a current Group buy for the LRM in the M16 forum....

I bought a 9mm Colt to do just this with the Gemtech Talon SD.

Unfortunately the barrel on the inside of the unit is only about five-inches. thus, the lower receiver it is mounted to must be a registered MG or SBR. So far I’ve got the weapon registered as an SBR and had the barrel cut down to 10-inches, now I just gotta save up some cash to get the suppressed upper.

Best regards, J

Remember that depends on where you are - meaning temperature.
I shoot factory 124 grain out of a 5" barrel here in FL and it is subsonic.
Below is a picture of my setup which is using a Gemtech Talon barrel and a Gemtech MK9K suppressor that is 3 lugged.  I do have a friend that had a Gemtech Talon and we shot it side by side my setup and everyone said that mine was quieter.  We used the same ammo for consistency.  Note that mine has a deeper tone which sounds quieter but who knows on a meter the Talon could be quieter.  Mine also has a larger diameter than the talon of course but I like it.

The LRM 169 allows you to use regular ammo and turns it into subsonic flight by usign a bleed off system...

This reduces cost of ammo, as you can use your cheap ammo rather than $$$expensive subsonic ammo.

Great company and great product...
