I saw a thread on here before about how to do it, but I can't find the thread.  Thanks for any help.

I think the easiest way to go about it would be to go to your local hardware store and buy a small washer and a nut that will thread to the original magazine catch itself, that way there's no way to release it accidentally, it'll be bolted in there good. Did this to a friend's AR to permanently attach a magazine, works great.

I drilled and threaded the button and used a small set screw just into the one side of the button.Locktite it and away I went put approx 1k rounds thru it still holding fine.
