I have an SBR reg colt 9mm lower that I would like to convert to .223 since I know have my full auto 9mm lower.  What parts need be changed?  I know this has gone 'round a dozen times before, but I cannot find the thread.

Thanks!

If the mag block is pinned-in, the pins have to be driven out, otherwise just take out the mag block

If equipped with a long 9mm bolt catch, replace with a standard .223 bolt catch.

You can leave the 9mm hammer in there if you like - it will just work like a custom "speed hammer" for the .223.

I've got a 9mm marked colt lower w/9mm hammer that's been converted back to .223, it works fine. If you have the two piece block I'm interested if you want to sell...I'm wanting to convert in the opposite direction.
