I'm starting this in 2 areas in hopes i can get to a wider audience..i bought this pws upper..the "PWS MK110 10.5" Mod1 223 Piston Upper" and put it on a mega arms lower..also using this surefire suppressor :SOCOM556-RC..after a hand full of shots using imi m855 ammo and the gas setting on #4, everything was fine, so then i take it to the away from home "shooting spot" with a few friends and we shoot it suppressed and not suppressed and i notice it starts acting funny..It starts to have kinda a "chunk, chunk" feel to it..like the buffer is kinda clunky or something..almost like a kinda drag on the system..it does eject and feed tho..so i bought a enhanced buffer tube from PWS and their heavy suppressor buffer, gave it a good cleaning, lubed it up and tried again..first couple of shots were fine..felt like a regular AR..then it started doing that "slide, clunk, slide, clunk stuff again..any ideas?

Does it sound different or just feel different? Have you tried a different buffer and spring?

Maybe try it on setting#3?

Your "cure" is the exact opposite of what you should have done.

If the gun is cycling sluggishly, either reduce the buffer weight or increase the gas impulse. Increasing the buffer weight will make the gun cycle even slower.

First off you have the correct PWS buffer when shooting suppressed H4  and the gas setting on number 4.   not suppressed  the regular PWS H2. gas setting on 1 or 2

Sense you have the PWS enhanced lower receiver extension your not getting carrier tilt.  What I think is happening is your getting carrier drag between the hammer and the bottom of the carrier.  what I use at my work place is some steel wool or a green nylon brillo pad.   Go ahead and scrub down the top of the hammer when its cocked back .  Then scrub down the bottom of the carrier where it rides over the hammer .  I use mpro-7 lube in all my piston driven rifles.  also make sure your extension tube has a light coat of oil in it where the spring goes and the spring is seated correctly around the buffer.
