For .223 get an Adams Arms, I have one and love it so much. By far the best piston system, all of the materials used in it are top of the line, by far the best one. You can usually find it at rainierarms.com  good luck

Buy once, cry once......  I prefer a Hogan upper receiver.  The quality is the best I have ever seen and the customer service is even better.
