That's pretty sweet, even for a non-retro build, and priced right at $30.

Do you have any pics of them on a non 607 rifle?

Are these new production, then?  I notice they don't have a rear handguard cap.

PK,

Any chance there may be a second version of these with the front either slotted or somehow designed to work witha standard round handguard cap?  Kind of like the M16A2 roudn handguard front end...

I love shorty carbine triangle look, but it woudl be nice to be able to swap from round to triangle and back to round with pulling the frontsight base every time.

My triangle carbine handguards use the rear triangle retainer, which doesn't "index" on anything,  and of course they're loose like a goose. Do you guys think that a set of PK's new guards will take away the sloppy rattle? I'd hate to get them, struggle to install them and find out that they move around. Has anybody installed a set yet? How is it?

I have a set of these handguard, but one small problem. I am installing them on a 9mm carbine and it has a 5/8 barrel and the end cap that come with the set has a 3/4" hole.

The handguard are nice and fit good, now I just have to find a cap with a 5/8 hole.

update. I orderd a cap with a 5/8 hole from Specialized Armament Warehouse.

Are these new and not cut down?

Is the triangle cap the correct size for a super lite barrel?

Thanks

I was able to get around to installing a set of these handguards on an M16 this afternoon. I Am very happy with the product quality, finish and final fit. Everything fits tight with no movement or rattle. Attached are a few photos..........

Got my handguards in today and installed it tonight, no problems has a good tight fit.
I’ve wanted this since getting rid of my old sp1 many years ago; just like the feel and look.

How can I chop mine down to middy length and make it work?

I'm in for middy hand guards if you can either a) sell them or b) tell me how to make them.

Hey thanks

7.5" White Oak Ultra match with the windage adjustable front site they offer. I took the hand guard cap from Pk and opened it up to just clear the KX3 flange. The KX3 is threaded on and it hold the handguard cap in place. I then made a bushing to put on the barrel and re installed the KX3 and it tightened up perfectly, Rock set it and there she is.  A fire breathing ultra-match shorty.  LOL  I love the thing
