Good idea Vic  I have a set of ARMS 22 rings and the TRC on my Leupold Mk4 M3, but its intallation limites the placement choices of my scope I would have wanted to push the scope further towards the muzzle because it sticks out on the rear quite a bit, the TRC is in the way.  Also as you mentioned, the red dot would be somewhat blocked by the turret, if the turret was any taller (like my USO scopes), this setup is useless.  Speaking of USO scopes, this setup doesn't work at all, the TRC's bottom seems to be tailored for fairly traditional hunting scopes or hunting scopes turned "tactical", look at the slope on the TRC's bottom, there's no way it'd fit my USO SN3

See how the elevation turret and the rear of the TRC are vying for space, the turret lost this battle

Say, do the rails on your rings seem out of spec?  The lugs seem too thin....unless they're Weaver

So sowee Vic, I belatedly realized that the lugs don't matter for the jobs they're required to do: mounting of a miniature red dot sight.  My Optima 2000 / JPoint mounts don't even have a recoil lug on the bottom, the mounts are tightened from the side via two Allen screws

My first instinct was that if the rails weren't Picatinney, I'd have problems using the Picatinney mounts I have, but come to think of it, what would I mount on that rail except a Docter, Jpoint, PF, etc.?  Certainly not a Surefire, Aimpoint (even their new Mini red dot), EOtech or IR laser that would require a Picatinney rail.
Count me in for one 30mm and a FirePoint

Cool mount! I been looking for a way I could mount a small laser (Beamshot, Aimshot) to my deer rifles.Believe me, it sucks when you run into a BIG PIG on the way to the deer stand, AND YOU HAVE NO WAY to aim your rifle while your NVD is on your head!!

Put me down for a one inch model.

Nice touch Vic....This ring will provide an option for those that alreay have an magnified optic solution and would like the addition of a MRD with having to invest in a new mount from LaRue or ARMS.

Especially for this bolt gunner when the real estate are like gold, you can simply add your mount and hook up a IR laser for long range shooting.  This way you don;t have to invest in an over weight rail system like the M24A2.

at 59.99 each, the price is not bad at all...especially for my SPR with a Lupy MR/T......:)

Hey Vic,

nowday that , at last , even the USMC has 34mm tubes on their SWSs , I think you're going to have a great market for a 34mm SAR , so , come on , do it without loosing more time !

Last week I got my SAR1.

Now I am able to pimp up my StG77 A1 14 inch shorty a little by mounting an Aimpoint M2 on the top of the original 1.5x optic.
The height is perfect for shooting with NODs (LUCIE) and gas masks.

Great idea! Thanks Victor! I can highly recommend your mount!
