I think the big confusion on why this gun went for so much is the fact they said 1963 in the title as well as the serial number.
Yes the seller ‘fixed’ it the day before it sold saying it was a typo but then never fixed said typo….. I’m sure the high bidders assumed serial #11 instead of #1011 |

A 1st year production, serial #100X sold locally two years ago for $3500. I so regret not grabbing it. At the time I was hung up on wanting a 3 digit serial number, that I passed.
