trying to get my lowers all stamped rather than engraved.
kind of a pet peave of mine is replicating roll marks by engraving...
test run turned out ok, might be able to tighten it up a bit w/ a different jig.

Do you have any pics of the jig?  I would love to see what you are using to do this without deforming the mag well.

i took a 1"x2.5" piece of steel and milled it to fit. so... this one was a pri lower.
ill have to make a different one to do nodak lowers they use a different broach on the magwells.
the part of the sidewall that is thiner is a sharper transition on the nodak.
i did some practice ones on a 3/4" piece w/ shim stock and it was flexing.
this didnt seem to flex.

Man that looks fantastic. If you iron it out you should consider offering a service to stamp 80% lowers!

I like how the impression is so deep for the text "CAL" there is a rectangular impression left by the roller.  I've seen other GM roll marks with the same kind of impression but I can't find them.

Those markings look amazing. Good work.

I'd also be interested in seeing how you accomplished this. Im currently in the process of reprofiling an 80% and the original plan was to electro etch the hydromatic markings but this would be better. Specifically what you used to do the stamping.
