What is the going rate for one right now? I might get one if they arnet too expensive. What would be the most correct for an xm16e1? Thanks

I think I've seen them for $10-$15.

I'd say do it. It's a small detail but you'll know it's correct!

Exactly! I didn't get a no wrench flat buffer tube because that I can't see at all and it's pretty expensive.

I STARTED off that way, but eventually I had to get ALL of the period correct REAL parts for my builds.  The later model & the repro parts just bugged me, and had to be replaced.  Now, the only ONE part on my builds that is not correct and original are the receivers.
