I recall reading- maybe in Pikula's book, maybe not- that one of the Dutch bayonets was a modified M1 Carbine bayonet made by Schiffe.

Anybody have any info on this?  I assume the lug mount AND the muzzle ring wre different?

Hi Abom,

The lug mount of the carbine bayonet was/is the M1 carbine mount on the Dutch AR10 carbines. They changed the muzzle ring to the large diameter for the AR10 flash hider and they recessed it to stay away from the muzzle flame. The brand is indeed "Kiffe".
