Member Brick. Don't think he's making them right now but his are generally considered to be the best. After that, 45Bravo I guess but he's not making them anymore.

I am looking for someone who makes or sells them currently.

Thanks, Joe

Being that no one else is making them, I might be willing to make a batch of them.  I got enough requests for Duckbills to start up another batch of those.

Are a lot of people looking for them?

I could do a copy that is the true 4.5", or do a slightly longer one that has an integral grenade ring in it...

If anyone does make a repro again, I might suggest one that is lightweight, and a slipover model too.

I have a brick and a Bushampster slipover for my GAU-5A/A and XM177E2 builds.

How do we convince HPA stop the madness?

I never would have sold my last Brick's mod if I had known he would stop production. I'm guessing he might do it again. People get burnt out on this kind of stuff and I don't blame them. I still want an XM177E1. I believe the void will be filled, but the quality of Brick's parts are top shelf. it would take a serious effort to reach that pinnacle IMO. Simply the best.

I haven't stopped production, just moved to a new state and am finding new people to work with to produce them for me.  There will be my original style 4.5" and a new style 5.5" with grenade ring for the 11.5" barrel guys.  Maybe some 607 moderators, and will be some modern style AR-10 flash hiders.

I'm in for (1) with the integral grenade ring.

Who can mate a moderator to the correct barrel ?

I could use one of the 4.5s    Would the AR10 FHs be cut for standard AR15 barrels?

These are not going to be retro.  They are modern style designs for 5/8-24 threaded barrels for calibers like .308, 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8SPC, and 300 Blackout.  Basically anything .30cal and under.

Thanks, I had AR-180 in my head..I bought a FH from Armalite but its not threaded long enough for a standard AR barrel.

I have designed a slip over and made a prototype, but I can't afford to include it in this run, so it will probably be bumped to the following run.

You could try looking for a Daewoo flash hider.  The daewoo had long threads and may work for you.  I think there was a company making USA made reproductions.

This is exactly what I was looking for, the short barrel look without all of the NFA bull-crap paper work.  How do I place my order?

What barrel length is needed to be legal if pinned & welded ?

Any length over 16".  To be safe 16.25" is a common overall length for the barrel and muzzle device.

I need a 'Grenade Ring' before I 'pin & weld' this device.

I'm in for a 4.5" moderator when they become available. TAKE MY MONEY!

Seriously.

I would like to purchase one of these also when they are available. Probably the 5.5" version. My barrel is 12" including the threads as best I can tell without removing the innacurate 5.5" moderator I currently have.

I would pay double for a 607 clone so please consider making one of those as well!!

I received my grenade-ring in the mail yesterday; now I'm ready to get the barrel pinned ;-)

first I'll have to get the old 5.5in off of there ... here’s a picture of my Retro’ish 'GAU' XM177 chambered in 5.45x39mm  :-)
