I went to a fun show this weekend and found 4 early colt mags used for $15 each with .223 floorplate marking. One of them has the I U marking on the body. is this right for an early Colt .223 mag?

Why don't we have a Retro magazine information thread in the retro forum?

Ill post pic's when I get up.  Its 3:30 am I just got home after working at the bar and Im going to bed.

1960's & early 70's USGI 20 ROUND ALUMINIUM "straight body" magzines  such as Adventureline or Simmonds & Colt are exactly what Retro builders desire .
