Inever saw one before, but itlooks like a nice A1 receiver. It appears to be cast(raised lettering), but it looks to be well made. The old cast EA receivers are prized nowadays, & I suspect this would be too.

I was born and raised here in NY,started collecting rifles in 1978,,I've never heard of that company.I'm glad you added the extra pics,,that's very nice looking!!! How well does it shoot?

I shot it once about twenty or so years ago, no problems. I just got back into the black guns about a year ago, and with this new technology I figured I would put it out to all, to see if anyone has any info on it.

If that is a casting, it's better than any I've seen...(I also think it's a casting!)...
Castings generally don't take anodizing as well as forgings or billets...if at all... |

Never seen a cast lower that has the rear lugs or mag fence that sharp. Looks very good!

Boy,,the name Valley Firearms in Poughkeepsie keeps givin me a tickle in the back of my brain,,I won't swear to it but I think they were one of the 1st to offer a semi only version of the browning .30 cal MG..Don't quote me on that,but as I said in my IM to you,I'll call Jack and ask him what he knows,,he actually lives about 10 minutes south of Po'keepsie

Ok that would be great. In NY this would be classified as an Assault weapon. D felony!...... It would be nice to have something showing it is pre-ban and therefor grandfathered in. For those of you who aren't aware of it, NY still has the Assault Weapons ban in the NY State Penal Law. which includes high capacity magazines also a D Felony.

They made stainless steel lowers..........
Go ahead......put a magnet to it.......... Fairly rare.......I've only seen a handfull in the past 20 or so odd years..... |

Ok I did and Yes it does attract a magnet, but Their are many magnetic alloys. It doesn't pull the magnet much so I suspect it isn't stainless. But wow I never thought to do that thank you "Villafuego". All this is great, I never gave this rifle much thought until the past year.

Good stainless isn't easily magnetized either.
The weight of the lower is a good indication also. |

It does look a lot like one of the cast Essential Arms lowers. Pretty cool!!!
