I've been thinking of putting an old Colt 3X scope on my A1 but I'm not completely sold on how well it would work or how well I'd like it.  With the $200+ price tags an actual colt scope costs, I've been thinking of one of the cheaper copies.  Problem is I'm not too sure how good these knock-offs are.  This isn't a serious rifle that I'd need the high priced glass for but somewhat decent optical quality would be nice as well as adjustments that are repeateable over time.  Anybody have any experience with the Colt knock-offs?

I've got one of the Japan made Hakko 4X scopes and am very happy with it. CDNN is sold out of them now, however.
