My father was in Vietnam from '65 to '68.  I am wanting to build a reproduction of the rifle he carried.  Does anyone have some info that I can use like pics or resources?

EagleArmsHBAR,
What did you have to do to get the selector switch to turn to "auto"?  Modified full auto selector, or something else?

I'm looking at doing the same thing for an upcoming build.  Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks, Lee

Easiest way to do that is to get an actual M16 selector and mill the extra tine off.
I've done this with several selectors.
I tried to modify a semi selector by adding the cutout for the selector detent and it didn't work very well.
Much easier to modify M16 parts into semi parts!
