Sorry--things work differently here.  I tried the add image icon below and it wanted a URL.  How does a feller go about cuttin' and pastin' here?
Thanks

rjay--I forgot, they changed the FALFiles so you need a membership to view.  But the one you listed on gunbroker looks like the one.  The guy's asking 900 for it and I was thinking of trading a Desert Eagle .44 mag, but I think I owe you for showing me what they really go for on Gunbroker.
So thanks,
Larry

There is some info on them in one of the AR15/M16 specialist books. I am pretty sure the bbl is welded to the receiver so if there was ever any issue with the bore then the gun is basically junk. Uses AR15 trigger group, mag catch, bolt, etc. The bolt carrier is a welded up piece and I have heard of one breaking. Basically an AK gas system married to AR lower.

I know of one that has been FS for $725 and no takers for nearly a year. I thought about offering $650 shipped but I am not going to buy one without a close personal inspection first.  Really, $600 or $650 is probably high dollar  and I think I will just stick to AR's although I love weird stuff

I passed on one at a local gun show recently for $400. They are a neat piece of the 1980's survival/assault rifle mentality. However, I've never seen one that worked very well. Years ago I had a friend that owned one and it wasn't very reliable. I owned one of the ARM pistols around the same time and it shared the reliability issues. I wish I had kept it though as they are rather unique.
