Hello,

I'm currently putting together an AR pistol in 9mm. I purchased an extended buffer tube, but I am wondering if the standard carbine spring will work?
Thanks for any info.

Specs:
-PSA Pistol Lower
-Exos Defense Extended Buffer Tube
-MAS Defense Complete Upper 7.25"
-Tactical Ambush BCG/Charging Handle
-Spikes Tactical Magwell Block
(Optics are temporary)

Damn that tube is LOONNNGGGG! If the inside is about 7" deep it uses carbine parts.

I bet it doesn't open up to full diameter till a couple inches past hole in end, just like the KAK.

There should be a plug in the tube so that the interior is the same length as a standard carbine tube. Use a standard carbine buffer and spring.
